Welcome to Our PSHE Page!
We use the highly regarded Cambridgeshire Primary Personal Development Programme, which provides a complete solution to planning, teaching and leading PSHE across the primary age range.
The PDP contains progressive entitlement frameworks which set out the expected coverage in each age group. It is divided into the strands Myself and My Relationships, Healthy and Safer Lifestyles, Citizenship and Economic Wellbeing. There are also enrichment units on topics such as Body Image and E-safety.
The programme also contains toolkits on SRE, Drug Education, Anti-bullying and Healthy Eating, which are used as part of our whole school approach, supporting us to work with pupils, staff, parents and the wider community.
All units of work support teachers to use a range of up to date and engaging methodologies in their teaching, including making use of appealing and age-appropriate fiction books, as well as assemblies for children throughout the primary range.
